Credit & Collections Manager

Job Summary:
The Credit Manager manages the credit department at QuantumClean and ChemTrace; emphasis on the following areas:
  • Overall Credit Management
    • Review credit worthiness of all current and new customers.
    • Analysis of customer D&B detail, financial statement analysis and credit references
    • Establish reasonable credit limits based upon sound financial review
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Minimization of DSO through constant follow-up and communication with customer 
  • Complete and distribute month end AR reports, utilize advanced credit methods to insure prompt and accurate collections including but not limited to: money wires in advance, letters of credit, bond claims, liens, litigation. 
  • Insure that all customers have an established credit limit.  Insure that all credit limits are accurate and up-to-date.  
  • Establish and document credit procedure including written credit policy and compliance 
  • Establish business plan detail relating to the credit dept. including:  projected DSO and projected AR balance. 
  • Constantly review current processes and activities and initiate process improvement ideas.  This includes data gathering and analysis 
  • Maximize orders and sales with sound credit policy. 
Required Qualifications/Skills
 Strong systems skills.
  • Solid collection, analytical and negotiating skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be a self-motivator with strong leadership and employee development skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Promotes a culture of excellent customer service.
  • Strong experience and understanding of accounts receivable/billing processes.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
  •  Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years collections experience with 5 plus years in management.
  • Experience with a company with an international presence preferred.
