We are seeking an OEM Account Manager -dedicated working with AMAT’s subs; machine shops.  As a member of the QGT Global AMAT account team, this position works under AMAT Global Account Manager (GAM), and is responsible for new account development and expanding existing accounts within US.  The candidate serves as the main contact for all US machine shops and serves as the main Quantum Global Technologies (QGT) contact to specified customers for price quotes, demonstrations, quality issues, customer issues, and technical information. Serves in this role within the specified territories with peripheral support of global accounts having facilities within those territories.  The key to success for this position is to gain a deep understanding of customer needs and processes to effectively manage and strengthen relationships at all levels of AMAT machine shops.
The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining accounts, have an understanding of gathering data and follow-up, capable of attention to detail, should be self-driven and motivated with a  ‘get-it done’ attitude to take advantage of QGTs opportunities for growth.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  (other duties may be assigned)
  • Responsible for formulating and driving account strategy, development, plan and maintenance for subs; AMAT machine shops
  • Develop relationships with existing and prospective customers at all levels of management
  • Negotiates and facilitates business, technology and quality issues
  • Spends significant time at customer sites building and maintaining effective customer relationships, communicating technical and commercial information, leading efforts to resolve customer issues and leading efforts to build market share and close individual sales opportunities.
  • Assist AMAT GAM on forecast and demand planning to meet the sales objectives.
  • Drives the sales plan for successful new business gains as well as defense of existing business
  • Coordinate internal organization activities to deliver solutions to any customer problems.
  • Determine market share for each machine shops and obtain competitors’ activities in order to strategize and win business. 
Required Qualifications/Skills
  • At least 7 years of industry related sales (semiconductor/high-tech)
  • Technical Degree (engineering/scientific)
  • Demonstrated strategic sales performance, building customer relationships, and business development experience are essential.
  • Proven track record in winning new business in complex high technology organizations, networker and ability to solve problems. Mentality to win and passion to beat competition (proven track record). Comfortable working with all levels include C-level management.
  • Superb business acumen level
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal skills and presentation skills
  • Win-win negotiation skills
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office products, Excel, Outlook, Word, and other software.
 Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
  • Multi-product/process capability and experience
  • Broad Semiconductor industry vertical experience (more than parts cleaning)
  • OEM and machine shop experience preferred
  • Planning and project management experience
 Interpersonal Skills:
  • Adaptable to change and to complex environment
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and different learning styles.
  • Comfortable working multiple projects simultaneously
 Travel Requirement:      
  • 20-30% within US.
