Job Summary:
Customer Service: Working under close supervision, responsible for processing orders from customers into a laboratory data management system.  Responsible for interfacing with customers prior to and/or after sales; developing and maintain positive customer relations; and coordinating with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support sample receiving and login while minimizing sample residence time at login
  • Initiates sample contract review process to ensure information is complete and accurate.  Corrects problems as required and reports information to the Client Services’ team.
  • Handle sample disposition of tested samples
  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials/supplies
  • Receives and prepares bottles, samplers, tubes, hazmat shippers and swabs order request following standard business practice to ensure consistency and high quality of deliverables
  • Receives and contract reviews samples followed by recording of analytical testing request in LIMS
  • Sampling and sample pick up from client sites
  • Coordinate sample pick up requests
  • Maintains inventory of shipping materials
  • Delivers client reports
  • Maintains filing and archiving of raw data
  • Acts as liaison between regional sales, customers and lab personnel. 
Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • Excellent computer and data entry skills
  • Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
  • Strong attention to details and follow through skills
  • Fluent in written and verbal English communication
  • Chemistry knowledge is a plus
