Job Summary:
Customer Service: This position is responsible for developing new business relationships with clients in one or more business segments, maintaining existing accounts and influencing clients to repeat business and expand services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develops new accounts aligned with marketing strategy and maintains long-term client relationships.  Strategically manages key accounts in assigned territory.  Able to execute marketing strategies in business segment assignment.  Acts as primary client contact, provides technical information and pricing.  Able to develop sales forecast for business segment assignment.  Supports client projects that come in-house.  Directly responds to client concerns/complaints through prompt problem resolution.  Acts as liaison between client and business/laboratory operations.  Addresses technical requests of customers and recommends testing strategies.  Projects a positive and favorable image of the company to promote ChemTrace’s quality commitment to exceed customer’s expectations.  Updates client database and weekly sales activities.  Assists in account reconciliation activities and contract review.  Delivers client presentations. Generates and cultivates new leads generated from exhibits, conferences and ChemTrace website. Attracts potential customers by answering micro-contamination related questions; suggests analytical testing services and testing programs to meet customer objectives. Maintains and grows existing accounts by identifying upselling, cross selling and share gain opportunities
Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedure/instruction
  • Chemistry knowledge is a plus 3-5 yrs Account management experience – laboratory background a plus
  • Ability to absorb significant amount of technical information and translate it into business opportunities 
  • Excellent project management skills. Ability to manage details and tight deadlines. Amazing follow up skills.
  • Ability to cultivate existing clients and grow new relationships within your assigned accounts.
